In 1910, Toso S.p.A. was founded in Piedmont, the most famous place of wine production in Italy. Luxuriant vineyards surround all the plant. After almost one century, Toso S.p.A. is now one of the most modern industrial realities in the Italian oenological field. A careful wine-growing with an extreme care in the vinification process and an elegant packaging are the most important features that link Toso to their great wines. The Italian Law restricts the grape production, within the framework of self-discipline; Toso restricts their output 20% less than the national restriction! The production of 10 million bottles of Barolo Wine each year reflects their concept of quality above production.
Evaluation:A prestigious “Brut Riserva” obtained with a long Charmat Method (i.e. 2 months in stainless steel tanks and 1 month ageing in bottle). A pale-straw coloured sparkling wine with elegant and persistent “perlage” and distinctive flavours of yeast. It has dry and well-balanced taste.
Grape Variety: Chardonnay.
Sommelier :Serve at 8-10°C.
Catering: Excellent through any light meals, best enjoyed with seafood and cold appetizers or on its own as a fantastic aperitif.
