Tom Carson被公认为是澳大利亚当代领军的酿酒师之一，尽管他很年轻，但他成功的酿酒经历铸就了其现在的地位。

Tom曾是雅拉谷的著名酒庄－优伶酒庄的首席酿酒师，在那工作了12年。在此期间，由他酿造的多款佳酿，因酒体纯厚复杂有力而履获殊荣。也由此成就了他一流酿酒师的名声。  他先后被评为澳大利亚最佳酿酒师和英国伦敦国际葡萄酒烈酒大赛年度最佳酿酒师，并成为堪培拉澳大利亚国家葡萄酒大赛最年轻的主席。

自2008年起，Tom开始担任雅碧湖酒庄的总经理和首席酿酒师，自信地将一家新兴的酒庄推向了一个空前的高度－成为成功而饱受赞誉的葡萄酒酿造者。

THE WINEMAKER: Tom Carson

Tom is already regarded as one of Australia’s current leading winemakers, and despite his relative youth, his impressive track record speaks for itself. Making his name over a 12 year period as chief winemaker at the renowned Yering Station in the Yarra Valley, Tom quickly forged a reputation for making award-winning wines of purity, complexity and power. This was recognised by Tom being awarded both Australian and International Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine and Spirit Competition in London, as well as being the youngest wine show chairman for the National Wine Show in Canberra. Since 2008 he has been General Manager and Chief Winemaker at Yabby Lake on the Mornington Peninsula, and is surely set to take this new winery to an unprecedented level of success and acclaim.

THE WINERY: Yabby Lake, Mornington Peninsula

Yabby Lake has risen to national prominence in a remarkably short time and is now widely regarded as one of Australia’s finest producers of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.  The wines come from a single vineyard in the Moorooduc sub-region of Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, divided into individual parcels that are best suited to high quality production which also produces small amounts of high quality Pinot Gris and Shiraz. In 2008 Yabby Lake became the first Australian winery to create a significant retail presence in China by opening a Cellar Door in Guangzhou. Since then four more have opened across Southern China with plans to open soon in Shanghai, Qingdao and Beijing.
